Benjamin Anthony Previte

of Wesley Chapel, FL

Benjamin Anthony Previte, 90, of Wesley Chapel, Fla., passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2010. He was born in Frostburg, PA and moved to Florida from Chenango Bridge, NY in 1999. Ben served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II for five years. Ben worked for Link Aviation for 45 years. He started as a Field Engineer in 1947, moved to Assistant Service Manager of the Air Force Program and ended up as a Customer Service Manager in 1962. Ben was Manager of Data Control on the Apollo Program in 1964, putting man on the moon. In 1977, Ben was promoted to the Engineering Department at Link as Program Manager. Here he was responsible for the full deployment of several Naval Flight Simulators until he retired in 1989. Ben is survived by his wife of 67 years, Ruth; son, John; and his wife Shannon; four daughters, Barbara Weisberg and her husband Rick, Janet Boyles and her husband Ken, Judy Duffek and her husband, Tom and Joan Orzel and her husband David; brother, Ray Previte; fourteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

A funeral mass will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. May 17th at St. Mark the Evangelist Church, Tampa. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 16th at Loyless Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Sarasota National Cemetery in Sarasota, FL. Roland Coyle Berry (1936 - 2010)
formerly of Binghamton

Roland Coyle Berry, 74, passed away Thursday, May 13, 2010, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Graveside service: 3 p.m. Wednesday in Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington, with full military honors. Roland was senior vice president for Hughes Training in Arlington. He also had a distinguished career of 23 years in the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Boyd Berry. Survivors: Loving wife, Gloria; son, Douglas Berry (Lynn); daughter, Denise Bush (William); mother, Cecile Berry; grandchildren, Elena Berry, Ryan Berry and Sara Maus; and his dog, Barney.






Ann C. "Connie" Esworthy

of Binghamton

Ann C. "Connie" Esworthy, 78 of Binghamton, died Saturday morning, May 15, 2010 at her home. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Elizabeth Esworthy; brother Joseph and Marilyn Esworhty; sister Betty and Ward Giblin; brother Frank and Lil Esworthy; sister-in-law Peg Esworthy and her nephew Shawn Esworthy. She is survived by her brother, John L. Esworthy, Cape Canaveral, FL; 14 nieces and nephews; and very dear friends Joan and Bob Ryan, Binghamton. Connie was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Binghamton, and a retired 43 year employee of Singer-Link. She loved to travel and enjoyed her winters in Florida with her brother, John. She was a dedicated Election Board volunteer. The family wishes to thank the staff of Lourdes Hospice for their help and support.

A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Binghamton, Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Steet, Binghamton Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. The family requests that flowers please be omitted and expressions of sympathy in memory of Connie be made to Lourdes Hospice Program, 4102 Old Vestal Rd., Vestal, NY 13850
